Lindsay Lohan to appear in court on Monday

Lindsay Lohan is expected in a Los Angeles court next week. Lindsay Lohan will attend a court hearing Monday morning in Beverly Hills, California. 23-year-old missed a mandatory probation hearing Thursday.
She was to be arrested upon her return to Los Angeles for missing the hearing, but a judge recalled the warrant late Thursday after Lohan posted bail. Shawn Chapman Holley said Lohan was issued a temporary passport by the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France, on Thursday and would fly back to the United States as soon as possible.

Brittany Murphy’s Husband was found dead at his Los Angeles home. Five months after she died, her husband Simon Monjack found dead.
The body of British screenwriter Simon Monjack was found late Sunday night at his residence in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles. He was 39.
Simon Monjack is believed to have suffered a heart attack at the house. Simon Monjack’s actress wife Brittany Murphy was found dead by her mother in the bathroom of the same house on December 20, 2009.

Hollywood actor Dennis Hopper dies at 74

Academy Award-nominated actor and Hollywood actor, Dennis Hopper, has died at the age of 74. Dennis Hopper died May 29 at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 74 from prostate cancer.
Hopper studied at New York’s Actors Studio. Hopper was best known for his role in the epoch-defining late 1960s film Easy Rider, Rebel without a Cause, Giant, Gunfight at the OK Corral and True Grit.
American actor, filmmaker and artist. As a young man, Hopper became interested in acting and eventually became a student of the Actors Studio. He made his first television appearance in 1955, and appeared in two films featuring James Dean, Rebel Without a Cause (1955) and Giant (1956). Over the next ten years, Hopper appeared frequently on television in guest roles, and by the end of the 1960s had played supporting roles in several films.He also played the villain in Speed (1994). Hopper’s later work included a leading role in the television series Crash.

At least $30.1 billion from prices on houses on the market as of August 1 were noted in several states of United States of America.
Trulia Inc., real estate search engine reports heavy price reductions in US real estate market. Nearly 50% of country’s 50 biggest cities, 30 percent of their listed homes have looked for price cuts.
Minneapolis, Long Beach, Los Angeles and San Francisco are few of cities where more than 25% of listed houses seller reduced prices.
Unemployment is considered a major reason after price cuts.

Lady Gaga bagged a total of eight awards during Sunday’s VMA’s held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Lady Gaga was the big winner at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Video of the Year which went to Lady Gaga for “Bad Romance,” and Best Collaboration won by Lady Gaga and Beyonce for “Telephone”. Song “Bad Romance,” was Best Pop Video, Best Female Video, Best Dance Music Video, Best Choreography, Best Direction and Best Editing and the night’s most coveted trophy, Video of the Year. Gaga also won Best Collaboration with Beyoncé for “Telephone.”
Eminem won Best Hip Hop Video and Best Male Video. Canadian teen Justin Bieber took home the coveted Best New Artist award.

The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 13, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcasted on CBS.
Barbra Streisand will be honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year two nights prior to the telecast on February 11. Nominations were announced on December 1, 2010. A total of 109 awards will be presented. Most of the awards will be presented during the pre-telecast which takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which is next to the Staples Center, where the main telecast takes place. The eligibility period is September 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.
For the third year, nominations were announced on prime time television as part of “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live! — Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night” a one-hour special broadcast live on CBS from Club Nokia at L.A. Live.
