McDowell made a solid start to turn in 32, but he caught fire with an eagle two on the 10th. And a run of birdies through 13, 14 and 15 helped him post a seven-under 63. Simon Dyson will be a force to be supposed with on Sunday after a second consecutive 65 moved him to within three of the lead at 16-under.
Hong Kong Open is a golf tournament which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour. It was founded in 1959 and has been part of the European Tour’s schedule since 2001. The Hong Kong Golf Association, Hong Kong PGA, and Chinese PGA also receive a limited number of exemptions into the tournament for their members. Chevron World Challenge is an offseason golf tournament hosted by Tiger Woods, which takes place each December at Sherwood Country Club, a course designed by Jack Nicklaus, in Thousand Oaks, California. In its first year, 1999, it was played at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The tournament was established as a charity fundraiser by Woods, and all the charitable funds raised go to charities with which he is associated. This is similar to many official PGA Tour events, but they usually have fields of around 150, as opposed to only 18. The first prize is $1.35 million, and last place is $170,000. Woods usually donates his prize money to his Tiger Woods Foundation.
