iPad 3G’s first weekend at market was a successful one, iPad 3G model in the US, Apple has now sold over a million iPads, according to analysts.

Apple put its iPad 3G on sale in the U.S. late Friday afternoon at prices starting at $629.

The Wall Street Journal reported that a number of US Apple Stores had already sold out of 3G iPads by Sunday.

Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster estimates that Apple (AAPL) sold about 300,000 iPad 3Gs between Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. 49 of 50 Apple stores we called were completely sold out of the iPad 3G.

iPhone’s browser apparently had issue with downloaded PDF files, thus making it susceptible to fun little hacks like jailbreaking the device over the web. Apple says the problem will be fixed soon. Apple said that the company was aware of the report and was investigating.

Apple did not say when the software update will be available. Security experts have stated concern over the issue. U.S. government just gave jailbreakers the legal green light to take control of their iPhone’s software. “We’re aware of this reported issue, we have already developed a fix and it will be available to customers in an upcoming software update” said an Apple spokesperson.

Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen filed a lawsuit Friday against Google, Apple, AOL, Facebook, eBay, Yahoo Inc., Netflix, Office Depot Inc., OfficeMax Inc., Staples Inc. and Google’s YouTube.

Microsoft Corp co-founder Paul Allen is suing 11 major corporations. Interval Licensing Llc has sued these entities for violating patents. In the lawsuit filed in the US District Court in Seattle.

Apple, Google, Yahoo and AOL violated these patents, according to the lawsuit. Interval shut down in 2000 after garnering 300 patents. Google, Facebook and eBay said they will fight the accusations. According to the complaint, companies are liable for infringing a particular patent by making, using, offering, providing, and encouraging customers to use products that display.
